Want to know which fresh new music is hitting the (virtual) shelves this week? Then you've come to the right place. Here's our pick of this week's new releases...

Singles:

Chiddy Bang The Opposite Of Adults

The Opposite Of Adults is US duo Chiddy Bang's first crack at the UK charts. Mixing hip-hop rhymes with the electro loops from MGMT's Kids, the result is a feel-good party jam that's guaranteed to get you on the floor.

Sugababes Wear My Kiss

There's just no stopping Sugababes is there? Wear My Kiss is the new line-up's second release and, while it's far from their finest moment, this cheeky R&B-influenced pop gem proves that there's still plenty of life in the group yet.

Ellie Goulding Starry Eyed

She's already won a BRIT and been praised by virtually every music critic on the planet, but is her music actually any good? Well, the short answer is... yes! Starry Eyed is the 22-year-old singer's first full single release and sees her mix electro, folk and pop into a sound that's both irresistible and unmistakeably 2010.

Jason Derulo In My Head

'Jassssoooonnnnn Deruuuuulloooo' is back with the follow-up to his Top 3 smash Whatcha Say. In My Head sees the 20-year-old Florida native demonstrate his ability to really belt out those high notes and, with its crashing drums and rock guitars, suggests that we're set for an eclectic mix of genres on his upcoming debut album.

Leona Lewis I Got You

The second single to be taken from Leona's album Echo, I Got You has already been given the 4Music 'VIP track' treatment. Suffice to say, this gets a resounding thumbs up from us! A big breezy ballad with a typically stunning vocal performance, this is Leona at her very best. But when is she going to release Outta My Head?

JLS One Shot

Marvin, Aston, JB and Ortise's latest single has already been a Top 10 hit on downloads alone but, with b-sides, remixes and posters on offer with the physical release, you just know that their dedicated fans will be snapping this one up! If you haven't heard it yet (where have you been?) One Shot sees the boys add a dash of club-friendly beats to their smooth R&B sound. Nice work lads!

Alicia Keys Empire State Of Mind (Part II) Broken Down

With three back-to-back Top 10 singles, a No.1 album and a show-stopping performance with Jay-Z at the BRITs, Alicia Keys really can do no wrong at the moment. Her latest release sees the talented New Yorker give her own rousing account of what her native city means to her. Absolutely faultless.

Albums:

Marina And The Diamonds The Family Jewels

If 2009 was the year of the quirky girl singer, then it looks like we're in for more of the same in 2010. Runner-up in both the BBC's Sound Of 2010 poll and the BRITs Critics Choice award, Marina has had her fair share of praise, but is likely to prove more of a polarising figure for music fans. As demonstrated by her current hit single, Hollywood, the half Welsh, half Greek singer certainly knows her way around a catchy hook but her introspective lyrics and unique vocal stylings are a bit like Marmite. Which we love, by the way.
