We were all worried when we heard the news that Cheryl had collapsed the other day.
The latest news is that the singer has contracted malaria after being bitten by a mosquito during a recent holiday in Tanzania. Even though she had taken malaria tablets, she was rushed to intensive care after collapsing 'sweating and shaking' at the weekend. She has now been transferred to the Hospital For Tropical Diseases at University College London where experts on malaria can look after her.
Cheryl has had to cancel her busy work schedule for the next couple of weeks, and experts say she will need a few weeks off to recover. Simon Cowell has told Cheryl to rest, however, since it's X Factor audition time, Simon will have to find a replacement for Cheryl - who will it be?
Meanwhile, there is good news in the X Factor camp - Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith are celebrating the birth of their son Ethan Edward Smith, who arrived on Monday - we can hear the champagne cork popping from here - congratulations!
We're sure all of you will join us at Orange Monkey and 4Music in giving Cheryl a big X0 and in wishing her a speedy recovery.
