Chipmunk has revealed that his collaboration with Dutch singer Esmee Denters came about after he messaged her online.

He explains: "I had a version of Until You Were Gone and was waiting for the right voice to suit the demo. I've always been a fan of Esmee's vocals and decided to hit her on Twitter on the off chance and she replied back, flew to England and the rest is history." How very 21st Century of you Chip!

The song in question is due for release on April 19th and is one of four new tracks to be included on the new Platinum Edition of his debut album I Am Chipmunk, which hits the shops on May 3rd.

In other Chipmunk news, the 19-year-old rapper recently confirmed details of his second headline UK tour. The Shine Shine tour will kick off in Yeovil on 27th June and will visit Cambridge, Ipswich, London, Wolverhampton, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Lincoln and Bournemouth, before finishing in Bristol on July 17th. Tickets are available now from all the usual outlets.
