Earlier this year Ellie Goulding became only the third artist ever to win the BRITs Critics Choice award, which is given to the most promising new artist of the year.
She's got a tough act to follow, with previous winners Adele and Florence + The Machine both going on to achieve huge chart success but we reckon her unique blend of electro, folk and pop will be a huge hit in the coming months.
