For some girls their first love was either Gary, Mark, Robbie, Jason or Howard and their first devastating experience was when Take That split up in 1996. After weeks of crying into their pillows with shattered dreams of marrying their favourite and for some grief counselling - they had to pick themselves up and get on with their lives well for the next ten years anyway.
We all know the story; their prayers were answered when the boys (minus Robbie who left in 1995) announced they were getting back together in 2006. But could they beat their previous chart-topping successes? eight number ones (including Relight My Fire, Back For Good and How Deep Is Your Love), three number one albums, sell out tours and the accolade of being the biggest boy band of the 90s.
But they didn't just come back with a whimper; they managed to stage whats been called the greatest comeback of all time. Four years back in the limelight and the four and let's face it - still hunky lads from Manchester have had three sell-out tours, two number one albums, three number one singles (Patience, Shine, Greatest Day) and enough awards to grace all their houses.
In the words of Gary Barlow "I'm grateful every morning to be in this position" and believe us Gary we're grateful too.
