The French DJ who become a global hit
David Guetta is a French house music producer and DJ who released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. It was his third album One Love, released in 2009, that saw David's profile rise consiberably. The singles When Love Takes Over (featuring Kelly Rowland), Gettin' Over You (featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO) and Sexy Bitch (featuring Akon) all reached No 1 in the UK.
Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. A highly sought-after music producers, Guetta produced the massively successful I Gotta Feeling for Black Eyed Peas. It became a worldwide hit topping the charts in seventeen countries. It is the most downloaded song of all time in the US with almost 7.5 million downloads.
David's newest album Nothing But the Beat was released in Summer 2011, and features collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz, Sia and Jennifer Hudson.
In 2011, Guetta was named top DJ by DJ Magazine and he won a Grammy Award for his remix of Madonna's Revolver. Guetta is also rumoured to have produced some of the tracks on Madonna's new album.
