Tom, Danny, Harry and Dougie were our favourite teen boy band, then we grew up and they beefed up!
Back in the mid-noughties we all had a favourite McFly - didn't we? We remember swooning over the fresh-faced foursome as they belted out All About You on Children in Need. The guys sold millions of records then seemed to disappear off the face of the earth for a while. Then in 2010, they re-appeared looking fab with abs and with a more mature electronic sound in the form of their top ten hit, Party Girl.
Party Girl was followed by the more poppy Shine A Light which featured and was co-written by Taio Cruz - it reached the top five in the charts. McFly launched a brand new website, SuperCity and by the end of the year their fifth studio album, Above the Noise was heading up the album charts.
The heartwarming, That's The Truth, about honesty in a relationship reflected Dougie McFly's personal life with then girlfriend, The Saturdays Frankie Stanford. By the time the single was released, the couple had split up and Dougie had been admitted to rehab due to his heartache.
The boys took a short break from the music biz with Harry (to the amusement of his bandmates!) replacing his drumsticks with lycra and sequins on the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing and Dougie emerging victorious from the jungle!
The McFly hunks have now completed their sixth studio album for release on November 26th, and new single 'Love Is Easy' is a celebration of their triumphant return to the world of pop!
New album Memory Lane- The Best of McFly will delight fans with some of their greatest hits from the past seven years, as well as some completely new songs for you to sink your teeth into.
