A girl band with a difference?

Stooshe are three London laydees taking on the charts and the likes of Sugababes and The Saturdays to be the new girl band on the block.

The outspoken band was formed when Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold were brought together in auditions, and then Alexandra was scouted in Top Shop.

Alexandra, Karis and Courtney released their first single Betty Woz Gone last year. After being nominated for BBC Sound of 2012, Stooshe's second single is Love Me. The original version of the track featured rapper Suave Debonair, and racked up over 100,000 hits on YouTube. The reworked version features Travie McCoy.

Black Heart saw the girls propelled into the Top 5, and their cover of Waterfalls was a ballsy move to try and revamp some classic TLC.

2013 sees new single Slip hit the charts before they release their debut album Swings & Roundabouts.
