Sway is a Tottenham- based rapper making a big impression and even bigger hits!

Sway, also known as Sway DaSafo - is the rapper, producer, song-writer, and actor making a big impression on the music industry and producing even bigger hits!

He began his career at just 16, making beats for rappers, before writing rhymes himself and rapping on London's underground hip hop scene in MC battles. Sway was competing on the open mic circuit as part of the Tottenham-based hip hop trio Phynix Crew but he was yet to taste the big time.

During his early career, Sway produced a number of EP's with producers and long-time friends Pyrelli and Bigz from Dcypha Productions, his own independent label.

Sway spent a couple of years in the rap group One, a group that in a mainstream sense had limited success but a group that was once short-listed for the MOBO Unsung Award and was backed by the likes of Radio 1Xtra DJ Tim Westwood.

It wasn't until 2003 that Sway pursued a solo career in the UK Music Scene and after the release of his debut solo album This Is My Demo and a supporting slot for The Streets, was quickly signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik record label.

Sway has since ventured into many different genres, and collaborated with the likes of Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, Akon and T-Pain.

Sway's third studio album The Deliverance, has been his most successful yet. Produced by Flux Pavilion, the album's second single Level Up smashed into the UK Singles Top Ten and was even named as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record in the World.

Sway is about to release his latest single Charge featuring Mr Hudson. With a whole host of stars lining up to work with him, Sway is quickly becoming one of the hottest artists on the UK hip-hop scene and 2013 is set to be a big year for this man of many talents.
