Soft rock band that's proved hard to beat
The Script is everybody's favourite soft rock band. The handsome Irish trio, best known for hits Hall of Fame and The Man Who Can't be Moved is fronted by The Voice UK Judge Danny O'Donoghue. They have delighted fans with their soft rock ballads since their rise to fame in 2008 and have since then taken the world by storm.
Their self-titled debut album including smash hit Breakeven went straight in at number one in the UK album charts back in August 2008 and since this success, it would be hard to imagine a Top 40 without them!
Their second album was just as well received, taking them to the number one spot again with anthemic hits For the First Time and Nothing.
The Script are a successful band in their own right, but after Danny appeared as a judge on The Voice UK in 2012, he put both his and their name firmly in the spotlight.
Album number three made it to the top spot and saw single Hall of Fame claim the band's first No 1. The Script kicked off this year with a nomination for Best International band at the BRIT Awards 2013, and now we'll see frontman Danny back on The Voice for a second season.
