We rocked up to V Festival to take in all the prime artists of the festival season. If you aren't watching V Fest live on the T4 website and you haven't caught the updates on 4Music.... you're in luck! Our blogger Nicola has been dutifully taking notes from V Festival so you're in the know.
12.36 pm: We're heading over to see Wretch 32 play. The tent is rammed, so we squeeze our way in. Josh Kumra joins Wretch on stage for Don't Go and the crowd are singing every single word back to them. Magical moment number one?
2:10 pm: The rain is pouring down, doesn't seem to be dampening anyones spirits though...
3:50 pm: Olly Murs opens his set to crowds of cheers and then it's straight into My Heart Skips a Beat with the Rizzle Kicks joining him on stage. Olly goes into a cover of Madness' Must Be Love, breaking out his infamous dance moves. Love these moves! The crowd are going mental! I'm a little bit worried Olly's trousers might split if he gets any more enthusiastic! Can't fault him. Then he provides a rather energetic pelvic thrust during Busy which gets a large scream! He draws his set to a close with Thinking of Me with a sea of hands waving enthusiastically. Olly ends on Please Don't Let Me Go - a real crowd pleaser.
4:22 pm: I bump into Josh Kumra backstage fresh from joining Wretch 32 on stage earlier in the day. He's excited for the charts today and I also heard him sing a little bit of Don't Go acoustically for a fan - melt!
4:53 pm: Watching 4Music favourite Example pulling in huge crowds. Example is amazing as always! I'm bouncing around and having far too much during his set.
6:12 pm: Jessie J is rocking the 4Music stage with Price Tag and one leg. Mini Jessie joins her on stage- this kid is amazing!! She also has purple hair - how exciting!
6:52 pm: Tinie T opens with Frrrrisky! The crowd are loving it and quite rightly so - Tinie is just as amazing live as we thought! After singing Wonderman he dedicates Invincible to the audience and all of his fans.
7:23 pm: I pop backstage and bump into Louis from One Direction, have a quick catch up as he ventures into the crowds to catch the end of Tinie's set.
7:30 pm: I get back out just in time to see Tinie perform Written in the Stars. The crowd is the biggest I've seen so far, they're all going absolutely insane, and who can blame them??
7:51 pm: I rush over to watch Plan B on the main stage. He's looking dapper in a navy waistcoat and trews. His performance of She Said is amazing!
8:45 pm: We rush back to catch a bit of Razorlight and all their classics. The crowds are singing along.
9:36 pm: DIzZEE RAsCAL!!!!! Everyones been waiting for him and the crowd goes crazy!! He does all the classics - including my favourites Bonkers and Holiday. Amazing way to round off the day!
