Stooshe, Olly Murs, Cher Lloyd and The Killers
After the fun and frolics of Day One at V Festival 2012, including Cover Drive, Emeli Sande and Labrinth, we didn't actually think things could get any better. Day number two, however, proved to be just as action-packed and enjoyable, and yes, those 1D boys were still lurking around the campsite. Amazing! Here's what we got up to...
8.30 Wakey wakey, shower time. Uh oh. We've forgotten our shower gel. Wet wash it is then.
9.00 Walking back from the shower and we've just bumped into Niall from One Direction. He's walking around the Virgin Media Louder Lounge VIP campsite in shorts and a stars and stripes American-inspired vest.
12.30 We're with Louis from One Direction (and his gorgeous girlfriend Eleanor) and we've tracked down the 1D tent at the campsite! It's a huge tent which looks like a London Underground tube carriage. Check out our Twitter page for the photo!
12.40 Stooshe are on the Arena Stage. Their vocals are flawless and Black Heart is particularly emotional. An amazing set.
13.00 Spotted: Ollie and Cheska from Made In Chelsea making the most of the freebies in the Guess sunglass tent backstage.
13.10 Niall has just spotted us and walked over to say hello. He's feeling a bit delicate after last night's partying but is friendly as ever. We wish we could hang around with him all day long. Ah, swoon.
13.30 Tulisa is on the Main Stage right now. She's having a few microphone problems, but seems to be enjoying herself nevertheless. Currently performing her new single Live It Up and she is rapping Tyga's verses herself.
14:30 Olly Murs is on the Main Stage in his hometown. He says it is "a dream come true" to be appearing at V Festival, an event he used to attend growing up, always hoping that he could perform one day. "I'm buzzing," he tells the crowd.
14:40 Olly goes all chilled out on us, treating us to a jazz version of his debut single Please Don't Let Me Go.
14.45 Mr Murs has just given a big shout out to his mum, dad and friends in the audience. He says today has made him "so proud to be Essex".
16:40 Lawson are backstage in vests right now, making the most of the summer sunshine and the party atmosphere.
17:00 The legendary Tom Jones is on the Main Stage, currently performing Mama Told Me Not To Come. The old and the young in the audience are united as everyone sings and dances along.
17:40 Cher Lloyd sounds amazing on the Arena Stage, but she is getting a harsh reaction from the crowd. There's booing and a lot of throwing of water bottles, directed at Cher. She is soldiering on showing true professionalism. Well done, Cher.
19:50 Pixie Lott's live version of Cry Me Out almost had us in tears. She looks good and can definitely sing live. We're almost a blubbering wreck.
21:30 The Killers have just taken to the Main Stage as the final act at V Festival 2012. We are ready to rock.
22:30 The Killers are incredible. That is all we have to say.
22:40 Mr Brightside + Human + Somebody Told Me = one immense finale. Can the show carry on all night, please?
