Twilight leads the Razzie nominations celebrating bad films

Twilight leads the Razzie Award nominations

We think it's fair to say that most actors and actresses dream of being nominated for a big movie award at some point in their career. Many probably wouldn't mind whether it was an Oscar, Golden Globe or BAFTA, however, the one award that absolutely no-one wants to receive is a Razzie.

The Golden Raspberry Awards take place every year in America, celebrating the worst films, actors and actresses in the movie industry. As if poor Robert Pattinson hasn't had enough trauma in his personal life recently, now Twilight is (unfortunately) leading this year's Razzie nominations.

R-Patz is up for Worst Actor, girlfriend Kristen Stewart is nominated in the Worst Actress category and Taylor Lautner is up for Worst Supporting Actor. The final installment of the Twilight saga also receives nods for Worst Director, Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actress, Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Screenplay, Worst Screen Couple and Worst Sequel. Oh dear, that's a lot of bad nominations.

In fact, Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part Two is the only film to be nominated in every single category at this year's Razzies. Is it really that bad? We actually thoroughly enjoyed it!

Rihanna's movie debut in Battleship scores her a nomination in the Worst Supporting Actress category, where she's up against Jennifer Lopez for her part in What To Expect When You're Expecting.

So, do the cast of Twilight deserve all this flack? Leave your thoughts in the comments below. The full nominations for The Golden Raspberry Awards 2013 are:
