After two years away from the limelight the band have released a new video
We've waited two years for The Maccabees to produce a follow-up to their 2009 album, Wall of Arms. Their third studio album, Given to the Wild is now due for release on 9th January 2012.
Here we have the first offering from that album, and they've certainly come back with an impressive force.
In the video, the band take us on a journey through space as flying objects and people zoom towards us and split in half to reveal what's inside. It's a fascinating look at what's inside someone's head, an alarm clock or a metronome and in case you miss any of these, you get a chance to see them all put back together again at the end!
Pelican is due for release on New Years Day - January 1st 2012.
