A Q&A with the up-and-coming soul singer
He's got a striking look and a startling voice but somehow you don't quite connect the two.
And yet it's true: that young man singing his way up and down the vocal range from tenor to falsetto with the power and grace of a Smokey or a Prince is actually a 23 year old from Manchester. Our friends at Monkey from Orange caught up with the rising star.
Daley has been hailed as the 'next big thing' by the music industry, he's already worked with Wretch 32 on his album track Long Way Home and Gorillaz on their single Doncamatic.
In 2011 he released a free mixtape for his new and expanding fan base, Those Who Wait, and is currently working on his debut album.
He's alreaady worked with eminent producers on his album including Andre Harris of Dre and Vidal (Jill Scott, Mary J Blige), former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler (Tricky) and Shea Taylor (Ne-Yo, Beyonce).
