Cheryl Cole may have already hit the top spot with Fight For This Love, but it seems that there was another track that she had her eye on for her debut solo album 3 Words.
She revealed in an interview with 95.8 Capital FM that Black Eyed Peas main man will.i.am played her Boom Boom Pow before it was released and that she knew immediately that it was destined to be a hit. She said: "He played me that song and I begged him for it. I was like 'Please, please!'. He was like, 'I can't, it's already the Black Eyed Peas'. So, I let them have it. And then when they came here I sent them all cookies and doughnuts and flowers to congratulate them (on reaching No.1)."
Despite losing out on recording the track, she revealed that she has a great working relationship with will.i.am. "(It was) very nerve-wracking to work with such a musical genius, I have to say. I was terrified. But good, all in all. We've got a great connection, a great chemistry."
In other Cheryl news, the singer is currently touring as support act to the Black Eyed Peas on their UK arena dates and, from what we've heard, her set is incredible!
