You can't keep a good girl down...
She may have kept a low-profile of late following that break-up, but it seems Katy Perry isn't going to let her pop career slide.
Katy's album Teenage Dream has not only seen a successful tour and a series of acclaimed pop videos, but it has seen not one, not two, but all five singles top the US Billboard charts. It's a record only achieved by Michael Jackson.
It seems a tie with the King of Pop is not good enough though for Ms. Perry. She's out to make chart history with a sixth No 1 single.
Her secret weapon is an acoustic version of The One That Got Away. The single has so far made it to No 3 with a remix featuring B.o.B, but has since slipped down the charts.
So, with all the media attention and a new take on the track, can Katy climb back up and break the record?
Listen to the acoustic spin and tell us what you think...
