In the build up to the BRITs 2012, and with the nominations now out, we look back at 2011's big event
There were a lot of firsts for the BRIT awards last year. It was the first time the ceremony was held at the massive O2 Arena in London. The show included more live performances than ever before. Plus, it was the first year that artists battled it out for the newly-styled Vivienne Westwood bespoke statue.2012 will see the event taking place at the O2 Arena again. However, will it top 2011? Well with an impressive line-up of performers including Adele, Coldplay, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Florence + the Machine the stage is set for an epic evening of musical talent and entertainment.
James Corden with his comedic wit will be at the helm as host again and pop veterans, Blur, who have won the Outstanding Contribution Award will be playing together for the first time in almost three years.
