Cheryl Cole to debut new solo single on The Voice?

Chezza rumoured to snub Cowell's Britain's Got Talent

After she was famously axed from Simon Cowell's US X Factor, is it any wonder that Cheryl Cole might not want to appear on one of his shows again?

According to the Daily Star Sunday, Cheryl is planning on debuting her comeback single on BBC's The Voice. Friend and manager will.i.am is also a judge on the new talent show.

It will be a controversial decision snubbing the Britain's Got Talent stage, especially on a rival TV channel. Simon has already infuriated the BBC for luring Alesha Dixon away from Strictly Come Dancing.

A source explained to the tabloid: "Cheryl should be releasing her single when The Voice is on TV so it makes sense to combine the two. Cheryl's manager will.i.am is obviously a judge on the show so he's already been talking to producers to get the ball rolling.

"The BBC are desperate to beat Cowell and Britain's Got Talent in the ratings and they know there's no better way to do that than by getting Cheryl to perform her new single for the very first time live on the show.

"Cheryl would be a massive ratings winner and scoop for The Voice. Not only will the performance be seen by millions of people, it will also be a good way for Cheryl to stick up a cheeky one finger salute at Simon."

Music mogul Cowell recently admitting he would welcome Cheryl back as an X Factor judge "one hundred percent," but will.i.am has said she will never go back

Isn't it time we heard from the lady herself? And what about the single? Will be a third No 1 for our Cheryl?
