Best and worst-dressed men in music revealed

Tinie Tempah is praised for "elegance" but Chris Brown needs to "invest in tailoring"

The best and worst-dressed men in music have been revealed. Proving style never goes out of fashion, the sharp-suited Tinie Tempah has topped the list while others have been left wishing they were in his shoes.

GQ magazine has announced their 50 Best-Dressed Men in 2011 - and the Worst.

Tinie Tempah was awarded the coveted title and praised for his "true passion for elegance and proportions." Also in the list of dapper chaps were Dizzee Rascal at No 11, Gary Barlow at No 16, Mark Ronson at No 21 and Labrinth at No 41.

On the Worst-Dressed list, Chris Brown is the man found guilty of crimes against fashion. The rapper's penchant for tattoos, baseball caps and bling were judged to be a fashion faux pas.

"For someone who seems to have so much disposable income - he boasts on one track about spending '15 grand on a phone' and charged over $500 for meet-and-greets on his last tour - Brown seems utterly adverse to investing in tailoring, combining the worst excesses of XXL sizing with a penchant for deeply unflattering costumes," the magazine said. Ouch.

The style police were also called to arrest Dappy, who found himself at No 3 for his bobble-hat-and-tracksuits combo.

It wasn't just popstars who found their wardrobes under scrutiny. Twilight's Robert Pattinson was applauded at No 4, along with footballer David Beckham at No 13, Prince Harry at No 25 and actor Daniel Craig at No 37.

TOWIE's Mark Wright, however, is not as 'reem' as he thought, finding himself at No 7 on GQ's Worst-Dressed list.
