California Gurl returning to spotlight
Despite being MIA for the most of January since news of her split from Russell Brand broke, Katy Perry is making her return to the spotlight.
It has been confirmed that the Fireworks singer will take to the stage on February 12 at the Grammys in what will be her first official public TV appearance since her marriage ended.
Katy was originally set to attend the People's Choice Awards but cancelled, despite winning five awards. After reportedly hiding from the press at her grandmother's house, the singer was spotted in LA by a fan and posed for a picture. Katy then flew to Indonesia to complete her successful Californian Dreams tour, showing off her new blue hair do.
Perhaps Katy is slowly recovering from her heartbreak after breaking a pop record by having 6 No 1s from the same album, or could it be because she's being comforted by a hunky dancer?
The star will perform alongside the likes of Rihanna, Adele, and Nicki Minaj, before going on to release her re-packaged album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.Rihanna and Chris Brown both set to perform at Grammys?
