Popstar warmed up the Super Bowl crowd
Having lain low long enough following the news breaking of her split from Russell Brand, Katy Perry has made her first pop performance in the US this year.
You'd be mistaken to think Madonna was the only star of the night at yesterday's Super Bowl. Katy took to the stage for a pre-game performance. The California Gurl sang Teenage Dream and dedicated album track Peacock to Denver Broncos NFL star Tim Tebow. Katy's parents are said to be keen for the singer to start dating Tim, who is a devout Christian.
Katy Perry also attended the game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots in a varsity-themed outfit, tweeting: "SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE @thesupervowl #neverthoughtidsaythat."
With Katy having broken the record for most No 1s from one album, kissing boys on her tour, and a confirmed Grammy's appearance, it seems she's getting back to her old self.
