Lawyer claims Cheryl Cole's emails to rapper are real
A Twitter feud between Cheryl Cole and MC Harvey appears to have got ugly and turned into a legal dispute over just who is telling the truth.
Last week, the So Solid rapper revealed to Now magazine that he had had a fling with Cheryl. The Girls Aloud singer took to Twitter to deny it, accusing Harvey of "smoking something." Harvey hit back, however, claiming he had emails from the singer that were proof of their liason.
Harvey tweeted: "Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans."
Now magazine has confirmed Harvey allegedly has "dozens of messages" from Cheryl, stating that they have even seen some emails from her mother, Joan Callaghan - which reportedly say she was happy her daughter was "moving on with her life."
Speaking of the evidence, the magazine's legal advisor Tim Parish said: "The emails give details of her feelings about The X Factor, pictures she sent to Michael Harvey as well as personal conversations between the pair.
"I concluded that the messages were real, had not been doctored in any way and confirm he was in a romantic relationship with the sender."
Cheryl Cole is set to be continuing legal proceedings against the publication, and again took to Twitter this morning.
"I don't know when I became so naïve but even after 10 yrs in this industry i am still shocked that people will tell soul destroying lies to benefit themselves #sadbuttrue."
Thanking her fans for their support, she later added: "Thank you. And Night night soldiers.. I love you sooo much x."
So, is MC Harvey simply seeking publicity, or could our Chezza really be telling a porkie after all?
