Beautiful People singer making first appearance since 2009
Chris Brown has been confirmed as a performer at the Grammys this year, according to The Associated Press.
It will be his first appearance at the Grammys since his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, despite Chris Brown having received nominations since the incident.
Brown has been nominated for three Grammys this year, including Best R&B Album for his 2011 album F.A.M.E., as well as Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for his track Look At Me Now.Rihanna is also set to perform, taking the stage with Coldplay and is also nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for What's My Name? featuring Drake.
Despite denying the reports, Rihanna and Chris Brown have continued to be rumoured to be dating again.
Adele, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj are also confirmed to perform live at the 54th annual awards show, which takes place in LA this weekend.
