Spice Girls to be the jewels in the crown?
The Queen celebrates her diamond jubilee this year, and will be kicking things off with a pop concert. Thankfully, Prince William and Prince Harry have been left to choose the music for their gran.
Jessie J and JLS have been confirmed as performers, and Take That's Gary Barlow, who has been drafted in to organise the event, hasn't ruled out the boyband making an appearance.
There are also rumours that the Spice Girls will reunite. Mel B, who already let the possibility slip on a TV show, has continued the speculation that the girls are to meet for rehearsals. She tweeted: "will be back in uk next month to see my spice girls," and added: "can't wait, missed them all sooooooo much!!!!! girlpower all the way babay!!!"
Acts from the six decades of the Queen's reign will be there from the likes of crooner Cliff Richard to The Beatles' Sir Paul McCartney and The Voice judge Tom Jones.
The Mall outside Buckingham Palace will be the venue for a panoramic stage on 4 June.
We wonder if her Majesty will be tempted to grab the mic for a spot of karaoke...
