Footie player visits the boys before LA gig
The Wanted's gig in LA last night had already been sold out but it seems David Beckham was so keen to see the band that he dropped in for their soundcheck.
The LA Galaxy and former England captain came to see the group backstage at the El Rey theatre. The band have since tweeted a picture of them with him: "Had a special visit during our soundcheck today! Thank you to the Beckham family for stopping by!"Max, Siva, Nathan, Tom and Jay later tweeted thanks to their American fans after finishing what they called an "unbelievable" gig. The venue had already upgraded to something larger due to the huge demand for tickets.
Taking to their Twitter account, the band tweeted: "Sold out, packed from wall to wall. Los Angeles....this is unbelievable!!!."
Singer Tom Parker wrote: "Unbelievable gig in LA. Last gig of the tour in the US!! Its been emotional people x."
Nathan Sykes added: "LA ... What a way to finish!!! USA ... 1st american tour ... Done!!!"
David Beckham is not their only fan though, Justin Bieber tweeted his support: "I toured with the guys from @thewantedmusic and tonight they are on @chelsealately and got a show in LA. good people. #supportyourfriends."
It seems Britain's boybands are proving extremely popular, with One Direction also a big hit with US fans. Come home soon, boys!
