The boys have made history becoming the first ever British group to go straight in at No 1 with their debut album.
Up All Night only reached number 2 when it was released here in the UK last year, but the boys have done one better in the States and are currently top of the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
Harry Styles said: "We simply cannot believe that we are number one in America. We want to thank
each and every one of our fans in the US who bought our album and we would also
like to thank the American public for being so supportive of us."
In just over 12 months, One Direction have notched up over 204 million YouTube views, 12 million followers on Twitter and over 3.6 million followers on Facebook. Wow, that's a lot of One Direction love.
One Direction's 2013 UK and Ireland tour sold out immediately, with an estimated 300,000 tickets purchased, while their Australia and New Zealand tour sold out in just three minutes.
The group have recently been touring America with Big Time Rush and it was announced yesterday that they will soon star in their own US TV show.
Check out the video below and see just how loyal and dedicated the 1D USA fans are. They scream, they cry, they melt... and they seem to love the boys just as much as we do.
