Simon's boyband add another achievement to the long list

It's been highlight after highlight over the last year for the boyband who came in third a couple X Factors ago. Now, aside from claiming the biggest US debut for a British band ever, headlining Madison Square Gardens in New York AND being invited to the White House, One Direction can count another honour in their long list of achievements. The boys played legendary American sketch show Saturday Night Live last night.

The show, which was presented by Colombian actress Sofia Vergara, featured One D singing their hits - see their performances of One Thing and What Makes You Beautiful below.
