After Lady Gaga, one of the most talked-about artists in the US last year was American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.
His racy performance of his single For Your Entertainment at the American Music Awards attracted huge controversy and led to the singer being dropped from a number of high profile TV shows in the States.
Undeterred by the media circus that followed the awards, the outspoken singer refused to apologise for his antics and had the last laugh when his album of the same name debuted at No.3 on the Billboard charts, selling just under 200,000 copies in its first week.
The track in question is a sexually-charged electro-pop romp that encapsulates everything that the viewing public loved about him during his time on Idol. It now looks set to cause a stir on this side of the Atlantic...
For Your Entertainment is released on April 26th.
