She will release a new album

Geri Halliwell has revealed plans for a solo comeback and is planning to release a new album.

The 40-year-old ex Spice Girl is hoping to wow audiences with her new LP, which will be the first time she has released material since 2005.

Geri, is going to unveil her new solo efforts at a fashion show for Breast Cancer Care, where she will perform her new single, Phenomenal Woman, for the first time.

She will also be singing some of her older hits such as It's Raining Men and Scream If You Wanna Go Faster.

On the charities website they wrote: "We are delighted to announce that our patron, Geri Halliwell, will perform at the evening fashion show on Wednesday 3 October.

"Geri will be treating the audience to a number of old favourites along with the first live performance of her new material."

The last time Geri performed was at the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony with her fellow band mates.

It was there she met and began dating Russell Brand. However, we don't think Russ will be showing up at her charity gig since their relationship seems to have ended as quickly as it began!
