Nadine Coyle says there will be new material

When it comes to the future of Girls Aloud, there have been rumours aplenty over recent months. Finally we have official confirmation that the group are getting back together and are indeed hitting the road for a huge UK tour.

Nadine Coyle told the Sunday Mirror that the band are on course to reunite very soon.

She said: "It's time to come back. At the end of the year it would have been ten years and it feels like the right time to regroup."

She then (get ready to get excited) officially confirmed: "I know everyone's been speculating about what we will do. It will be arena dates at the start of next year and we will have new music to go with it."

Brilliant! Can we pre-order our tickets please?

The girls are rumoured to have met up to discuss plans last week at a London hotel. It was the first time in almost two years that all five of the girls were together in the same room.

During the last couple of years, Kimberley Walsh starred in Shrek in the West End, Nicola Roberts launched a makeup range, Sarah Harding pursued an acting career, Nadine moved to America and Cheryl Cole.... well we all know what Cheryl Cole has been up to....

After ducking out of the spotlight following her axe from X Factor USA, Cheryl is due to release her new single Call My Name next month in her highly anticipated return to the pop world.

With a brand new Cheryl single to look forward, a big Girls Aloud reunion tour AND some fresh material from the group... could life get any better?
