Maroon 5 and Xtina show us their moves

13) Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger

Love it or hate it, you've likely heard it everywhere this year. From the telly, to the clubs - even at your local off licence. Moves Like Jagger has been one of the most successful tracks of 2011, instantly recognisable with its catchy chorus and distinctive mixture of electropop, rock and funk.

The song ushered in a massive comeback for Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera. It was the band's first No 1 single in the US in four years and Christina's first US No.1 since 2001's Lady Marmalade.

In the UK charts, Moves Like Jagger held the No.2 spot for seven weeks, breaking the record set by All-4-One's I Swear in 1994. And if that wasn't enough already, it stayed in the top ten for an impressive 16 weeks.

The video features stock footage of the original Mick Jagger (and his ample lips) back in his heyday. And of course, being a Maroon 5 video, it includes the obligatory shots of a topless Adam Levine showing off his washboard abs and impressive tattoo collection. No complaints there!

A spot-on Christina Aguilera joins in on the fun, showing undeniable chemistry with both Adam and her microphone. We're not sure what's going on with all that strange blinking, though. Perhaps it's that heavy layer of questionable eye makeup?

Meanwhile, as our stars do their thing, a gang of dancers channel Jaggers's swagger and break it down on stage for our entertainment. Add to that an enormous American flag, a sea of sparkling confetti and an army of balloons blowing through the air, and you've got yourself one massive party! One of the year's best, in fact.
